Australia

Well, new location, new look, same Frooches...almost. We LOVE Australia...it is a beautiful place, with terrific people and so much to see and enjoy. By the way...we are still in Australia. Our two week holiday has turned into quite the adventure. As I type this, Jared is in surgery at a private hospital here in Sydney. His left ankle joint is being fused as a result of arthritic joint pain and soon he will have a pain free ankle! Some of you are aware of the 15 year old basketball injury that made his ankle less than perfect. Today it is being cared for, once and for all...here...in Australia. Prior to the medical care, we were able to enjoy some of Australia's natural beauty, seascapes, cities, culture and of course, the great friends we have made along the way. Stay tuned for postings with photos. Meanwhile, we will be in the hospital about 3 days with limited internet access and Skype and back to the Aussie Branch for recovery. They have been incredibly supportive and kind at the Branch. I am in housekeeping, in the meantime, and Jared has a little cube with a computer and phone to continue working with the KHCDesk in Guam.
