Worth the wait... First Stop... Nu Ermelo

So we haven't posted since January and this has caused many of our dear friends and family to wonder if we still exist... proof... we are alive and well.  Since January we have traveled to Mozambique, Ermelo, Cape Town and relocated to Johannesburg.  So much to tell, so little internet megabytes to share... a picture tells a thousand words... so here goes
Pouring the slab.  Got a very early start on a drizzly day.  The first truck of ready-mix showed up around 7am.  Poured it in about 20 minutes.  Then we waited 2 hours for the next batch... long day to say the least.

I now LOVE bricking.

Jared loves it too... just like his Nonno

Most of the crew, minus the girls.

Local congregation was so much fun to work with!

Kitchen Crew cooking on site in this caravan

lunch time

He came every day and waited patiently while his mom, a pioneer, cooked lunch for the crew.

Nu Ermelo KH the day we left

Their first meeting in this KH was the memorial.  They had 95 attend their cong of 42 pubs!
